On March 31, 2026, Desing Elementary School in Yong Jing welcomed Miss Dom Jones from the United Nations Association, Orange County Chapter. The visit began with an inspiring workshop on SDG 2: Zero Hunger, where students learned the importance of sharing food and reducing waste. Younger learners also enjoyed a fun food-sorting game as part of their agriculture education.

The highlight of the afternoon was the school's unique Cacao Tree Program. Student guides proudly led Teacher Dom to the campus garden to share their knowledge of growing cacao. Teacher Dom was amazed by how the school combines local farming with sustainable education to improve the community's future. This visit was a precious opportunity for our students to practice English and broaden their global perspective, while Teacher Dom was deeply impressed by the passion of our young "Food Heroes"!
